There are many ways to copy a formula down a column in Excel, but by far the quickest is to simply double-click on the AutoFill Handle. To do this:
- Select the cell containing the formula you want to copy.
- Hover the mouse cursor over the AutoFill Handle.
Hover the mouse cursor over the bottom right-hand corner of the selected cell.
- Double-click on the AutoFill Handle to copy the formula down.
Excel will stop copying on the row before the next blank cell in the adjacent column.
